Sonam Kapoor has said that Neerja has been a truly landmark film.
The actress accepted Mother Teresa Memorial International Award which was presented to Air Hostess Neerja Bhanot (on whom the film Neerja is based). She said that Neerja was a turning point in her life and the lady herself (Neerja) is kindness and compassion personified.
