It has been a while since Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been under the scanner regarding his retirement. Right from the 2020 IPL season, he was asked if he was going to hang up his gloves.
Since then, at every IPL season, he has been under scrutiny. Speculations intensified after Dhoni’s parents were spotted at the M A Chidambaram Stadium along with Sakshi and Ziva during Saturday’s match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals.
Team CSK has not performed well so far this season. Dhoni who is now 43 years said that he takes it one year at a time. He said by the time IPL 2025 gets over, he will turn 44 and after that, he has ten months to make a decision whether to play or not. He said that it is his body that decides. Till then, he wishes to enjoy the game to the fullest.
