Shooting for his much awaited film has been put on hold following his test results
It came as a huge disappointment to fans to hear the news of Mollywood’s favourite star, Mammootty testing positive for Covid. The actor took to his social media handle to post the update, “Despite taking all the necessary precautions I have tested Covid Positive yesterday. Besides a light fever I am otherwise fine. I am self isolating at home as per the directions of the concerned authorities. I wish for all of you to stay safe. Mask at all times and take the utmost care.”
He is currently shooting for K Madhu and SN Swamy’s CBI 5 which is a sequel to the investigative series of CBI diary Kurup. The much awaited project has been put on hold following the actor’s test results. His film with Amal Neerad Bheeshmaparvam is also awaiting its release. Mammootty also joined hands with Parvathy Thiruvoth for the first time for the movie titled Puzhu which has been produced by S George under the banner of Cyn Cyl Celluloid along with Wayfarer films and directed by Ratheena Sharshad.
Mammooty advised fans to wear masks at all times and take utmost care. The actor has isolated himself and is under quarantine as per Covid protocols. Fans are eagerly waiting for his speedy recovery.
