A man from the Canadian province of Quebec confronted a female nurse in the office of a pharmacy in the city of Sherbrooke, where she was assigned to administer vaccines. He appeared very shocked as his wife was given the Covid vaccine at the pharmacy without his authorization and therefore punched the nurse in the face. Police are on the lookout for the man.
Nurses across the world have been facing abuse and have also been suffering burnout on the job in the battle against Covid-19.
Anti-vaccine protests across Canada have been taking place and some demonstrations have even targeted schools.
Meanwhile Quebec Premier Francis Legault said that his government would try to get a special law passed at an early date to stop anti-vaccine protestors from holding demonstrations near schools and hospitals.
