Mamata Banerjee to meet TN Chief Minister in Chennai

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit Chennai today and will meet Chief Minister MK Stalin to discuss their strategies for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The Trinamool Congress leader is also likely to meet other top politicians in Tamil Nadu.

Mamata has been invited by West Bengal Ganesan for his elder brother’s birthday on November 3. in Chennai. Many opposition party leaders have raised questions about Mamata’s trip to Chennai using taxpayers money to attend a family function of a temporary governor.
Senior BJP leader Rahul Sinha has described the proposed meeting between Mamata Banerjee and Stalin as a meaningless one. Mamata on the other hand is positive that all opposition parties will join hands to defeat the BJP in the 2024 elections.
