The name of the party that Kamal founded is Makkal Needhi Maiam and he took his first baby steps in the ocean of politics. He sought to unite the six South Indian states. He spoke on various ills affecting society viz Cauvery dispute, unemployment, illiteracy and corruption.
He registered his party with the Election Commission and requested the people to join him to root out corruption as he could not do it all alone. He went on to say that there would be no permanent CM in his party and that he would create leaders for the next generation. The actor has taken up the most challenging role in real life. He felt that greatness can come from simple beginnings and he was glad to start his journey from a great man’s simple abode.
