Lukeharmonix Wins Choir Of The Year 2019 Award At YMCA Carol Fest Competition

Lukeharmonix, the English choir of St. Luke’s Church, Anna Nagar won the prestigious Choir of the Year 2019 Award at Carol Fest, a mega city-level carol contest conducted by YMCA Madras on 14^th December 2019. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- along with a trophy.

The event was judged by renowned music evangelists like Mr. Clement VedanayagamSastriyar, Rev. Fr. Thisai Gerry, Mr. Joel Thomasraj and Ms. Maxyn Kingston. Around 30 leading choirs from the city participated in the auditions held on 17^th November 2019 and top 10 teams were shortlisted for the grand finale on 14^th December 2019.
