Popular Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has been appointed UNICEF India National Ambassador. Kareena has been associated with UNICEF from 2014 and was involved in social causes like education of girls, gender equality, immunization etc.
Kareena deems it a privilege to be appointed as UNICEF’s India’s National Ambassador and said that it is a very special moment for her. Though it comes with a huge responsibility, she has accepted it with all her heart.
Kareena is the mother of two sons, Taimur and Jeh and feels that every child needs a voice. She feels that all children have to be motivated to dream big as they are the future of the nation.
According to her, they have to be engaged in sports, drama, arts, reading, painting etc. Their confidence has to be built so that they can come up with new ideas.
