Joe Biden Sworn In As The 46th President Of The United States

Joe Biden,78, takes oath as the 46th president of the United States becoming the oldest US president in history. His deputy, Kamala Harris, the daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India, also took oath as the new Vice President of the United States at the Capitol, becoming the first Black person, first woman, and first Asian American to serve at the position.

Ahead of his swearing-in ceremony, Democrat Joe Biden attended a service at Washingtons’ Cathedral of St Matthew the Apostle with incoming first lady Jill Biden. “It’s a new day in America,” he tweeted.
