A 27 year old woman employed in an IT company committed suicide by jumping from the 9th floor of her office at Thoraipakkam. The victim R.Priyanka was a native of Andhra Pradesh and was staying at Avadi.
The reason for her decision was not known as she did not leave a suicide note. The CCTV footage showed her jumping from the 9th floor at 4.45 p.m. She died on the spot.The Thoraipakkam police visited the site, conducted an investigation and sent the body to the Government hospital for post mortem.She was said to be engaged a few days ago. The Police found out that before jumping, she had called her aunt from her hometown and spoke to her.
