An IPS officer serving as a Superintendent of Police at the Kalaburagi Internal Security Division staged a sit-in outside the house of his ex-wife in order to meet his children. He accused her of not allowing him to meet the children.
Some media persons gathered at the spot. This act of dharna was not taken well by the divorced wife who called the local police. Not knowing how to tackle the issue involving a senior officer, the police pleaded with the officer to leave the spot. The IPS Officer replied that he was not creating any nuisance and asked under which rule was he asked to leave the spot. Finally he was allowed to meet the children after which he left the place.
