Indian restaurant in London wins Restaurant of the Year Award

Chutney Mary, one of India’s prominent restaurants in London has won the AA Hospitality Awards ”Restaurant of the Year” award. It is frequented by many celebrities including the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

This is the 30th year that the AA Hospitality is giving out awards. The restaurant was founded by sisters Camellia and Namita Punjabi and Namita’s husband Ranjith in the year 1990 in Chelsea, London. It was relocated to St. James Street near Ritz Hotel in 2015.
The menu of Chutney Mary is innovative and includes Indian cuisine items like  Biryani, Lamb Kormas etc. The 33 year old restaurant was named Restaurant of the Year for its creativity and innovative food trends.
This award is completely unexpected and has come as a surprise to the long serving team at Chutney Mary.
