Indian crowned Miss World

Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017 at a grand event held in China. This win came after a dry run of 17 years. Manushi is a 20 year old medical student from Haryana.She edged out top five contestants from England, France, Kenya and Mexico. The first runner up was Miss England Stephanie Hill and the second runner up was Miss Mexico Andrea Meza. Manushi is the sixth Indian to win this coveted title. The first Indian to win the crown was Rita Faria way back in 1966.

Manushi plans to become a cardiac surgeon and desires to open a chain of non profitable hospitals in the rural areas.She is a trained classical dancer and has a passion for outdoor sports like bungee jumping, paragliding, scuba diving etc.Her answer that a mother deserves the highest salary for the amount of sacrifices she makes for her kids was instrumental in her winning the title.Kudos to this beauty with brains.
