Cascade, multi cuisine restaurant at Radisson Hyderabad Hitec City, is running a “Goan Food Festival” till 1st May 2016 for Lunch and Dinner.

The ten day long festival is a treat of the glorious flavors of Goa with an extensive range of traditional mouth watering dishes from the vibrant Goan Culture that has Hindu Origins and influenced by 400 year old Portuguese Culture. The festival will not only showcase an array of authentic and sumptuous Goan cuisine but will also feature elements of Goan culture, giving Hyderabad a unique experience.

 

Goan cuisine consists of regional foods popular in Goa, an Indian state located along India’s west coast on the shore of the Arabian sea. Rice, seafood, coconut, vegetables, and local spices are some of the traditional main ingredients in Goan cuisine. The area is located in a tropical climate, which means that spices and flavors are intense. Use of kokum is another distinct feature. Goan food is considered incomplete without fish.

Lady Chef Terezinha was specially flown to present authentic Goan food during the festival. She would like to take this opportunity to showcase and exhibit the typical food habits and culture of the Goans to the Hyderabadi’s and teleguites. Goan food is becoming very popular in India and hence she wishes to bring Goa to Hyderabad. Lady Chef Terezinha would be presenting her signature dishes are Prawn Balchao, Mutton vindaloo, Goan fish curry, Veg Rissoles, cauliflower caldine, Bebinca.
