Reshma Kunhi has worked and designed for various Bollywood as well as South Indian celebrities like Bipasha Basu, Prachi Desai, Priya Mani, Ragini Dwivedi, Sruthi Hariharan, Parul Yadav, Nicole Faria, Nandita Shwetha, Parvati Nair, Nidhi Subbaih, Harshikha Poonacha and many more. Many celebrities have been spotted in her collections at various red carpet events and International award shows like IIFA, SIIMA, Sifa and others and she has participated in various Fashion Weeks like Lakme Fashion Week, Bangalore Fashion Week, Hyderabad Fashion Week and many more. Her design labels Reshma Kunhi Couture, Barcode Design and Becoming retail across 15 cities in India and also internationally.

SIGNATURE STYLES: Heavily embellished garments with intricate details.

BEST COMPLIMENTS: One of my old customers who has shifted to United States recently came to Bengaluru and picked up 50 of latest designs and said now she doesn’t like wearing any other designer. Another client from UK sent me flowers and a handwritten note saying on her wedding reception day she received so many compliments. One of the ministers from Bengaluru loved my collection so much that he asked me to design their family’s entire wedding trousseau.

LATEST FESTIVE FASHION TRENDS: Festive trends to flaunt this season are croptops with ruffle sleeves or plain and skirts be it ruffled pleated or A line, choli lehengas and ruffle duppatas with a belt, fluid kurtas or crop top teamed with dhotis, ruffle sarees, high neck and boat neck blouses, cigarette pants with well fitted tops, layered and draped kurtis, contemporary tunics, dhoti sarees, draped skirts with inbuilt dupatta and cowl kurtas.

FESTIVE HUES: Rich undertones and vibrant colours. Gold, off whites, ultraviolets, ruby reds, royal blues, honey mustard, teal blues, pinks, wine, emerald green are some of the colours for this festive season.
