Harish Kalyan’s Star, which was supposed to be directed by Elan has been shelved as the producer of the film backed out due to financial crisis. While there were reports that a fresh trio of Dhanush, Yuvan and Elan would team up. An official announcement regarding the same will be announced soon since Dhanush has a huge line up of film already. The project is said to be bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films and the shooting will begin by next year.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is already shooting for director Mithran Jawahar’s ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ also produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. He is simultaneously shooting for director Karthik Naren’s ‘Maaran’ as well and is next expected to begin shooting for his bilingual film with director Sekhar Kammula soon.
