Dhanush has obtained the rights to produce the Tamil remake of the Ayshman Khurana hit film ‘AndhaDhun’. AndhaDhun is 2018’s one of the most successful films. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also stars Tabu and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles.
A few months ago, there were rumors that Siddharth might play the lead role in the Tamil remake; however, it looks like Dhanush has become the frontrunner to buy the remake rights.
The actor confirmed that he has initiated the process of acquiring the remake rights and has been meeting Sriram Raghavan occasionally. Interestingly, he hasn’t starred in a remake in several years now, but Dhanush said he would make an exception for Andha Dhun as It is an exceptional script. The actor stated that he would love to play the lead role in the remake.
