Deepika Padukone will have to wait it out before facing the screen against Tom Cruise. The actress had reportedly auditioned for a role in the Hollywood flick The Mummy for the role of an Egyptian princess, but her team has not heard from the makers of the movie. The film stars Tom and Sofia Boutella.
