Cricket legend MS Dhoni inducted into ICC Hall of Fame

Former Indian cricket captain, MS Dhoni was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame along with cricketers Matthew Hayden, Hashim Amla and Graeme Smith. He was one of the most successful Indian captains who led the country to victory multiple times.

Dhoni has 17,266 runs, 829 dismissals and 538 matches across formats for India. His career reflects excellence and extraordinary consistency.
Dhoni said that he is extremely honoured to be inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame as it recognises contributions across generations from all over the world. He said that it was something he would cherish forever.
Dhoni has the distinction of being the only captain to lead India to victory in the ODI World Cup, the T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy. Under his captaincy, India reached the No1 spot in Test cricket.
Dhoni who is now 43 years old has retired from international cricket but continues to play for team Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
