An employee of a star hotel on TTK Road has been detained as he allegedly made advances to a woman guest of the hotel. A 29 year old woman was on a business visit and she booked a room in the hotel for a couple of days. As she was unable to close a window, she asked for housekeeping service.
The hotel employee who was sent, closed the window and made advances to the woman.She managed to overpower him and push out of her room. She then alerted her manager who was also in the same hotel. After that, she lodged a complaint with the All Women Police Station at Teynampet where preliminary enquires were held. The employee tendered an apology to the woman and she requested the police not to pursue her complaint. However, the hotel authorities have assured that action would be taken against the said employee.
