We have brought alive the rich tradition of mixing the tart pieces of fruit that will go in your favourite plum cakes with premium liquors and have unveiled the spirit of the upcoming festive season.
With the chefs spreading merry cheer to all the guests, the ceremony invited the participation of Crowne Plaza’s media partners, corporate guests and of course, our in-house patrons. Everyone came together, rolled up their sleeves and got to work with the mixing tray to make the base of our delicious Christmas cake. The mixing event reached a level of high spirits when the combination of the best varieties of dry fruits, flavored with cinnamon and cloves mixed with some premium liquor and syrups. After the traditional cake mixing ceremony, the mixture was put into airtight bags and left to mature and become rich in flavour until just before Christmas, when it will be blended with our in-house cake batter and baked.
