The exhibition, which started with a Grand Opening Event on Saturday – 12 November 2016, will continue till 03 December 2016.
The exhibition commenced with a presentation by The Institute of Indian Interior Design (IIID). One of the country’s premier design bodies, IIID has begun a yearlong trip across India, where designers drive Tata Nanos across India to spread awareness of design through college interactions and social projects. As part of its commitment to give students a hands-on design experience as well as give underprivileged children a home, IIID conducted a contest among design students across different colleges. The students were presented with a challenge – to plan the interiors for an orphanage while keeping in mind the constraints of space. The results of the contest were announced on Saturday at The Collection, UB City.
