Bangalore Literature festival is to set to roll out its fifth edition. The Festival has emerged as among the largest literary conclaves in the country that brings the best of minds in the world of literature to Bengaluru. Building on the success of the earlier editions, this time the festival brings together nearly a hundred stalwarts from the world of literature, in various languages, both from India and abroad.
While the participating authors names are still under wraps, the Festival team has announced a call for entries for LitMart – India’s first and only pitch platform for aspiring authors. This unique forum where budding authors get a chance to pitch their book idea to literary agents, commissioning editors and publishers is open to fiction and non-fiction proposals.
Aspirants need to submit information about their book ideas through the Festival website or at http://bit.ly/LitMart. The last date for submissions is 27th November 2016.
The festival is scheduled for December 17-18, 2016 at the Royal Orchid Hotel in Bangalore.
