Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Badla continued its splendid performance at the ticket windows. The crime-thriller has raked in Rs 11.12 crore in its third week and now stands with the grand total of Rs 78.44 crore. With this total, it has turned out to be the second highest grosser of Amitabh Bachchan of all-time after Thugs of Hindostan.
The film is a remake of the Spanish Film Invisible guest directed by Oriol Paulo. This film marked the reunion on Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee on the big screen after the courtroom drama Pink.
Many experts thought that clashing with Captain Marvel, will impact the business of Badla but on the merit of its content, it surprised everyone at the ticket windows. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Amrita Singh and Manav Kaul in supporting roles.
