Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited Pakistan in order to show her support for the people who have been affected by the floods that ravaged the country.
Heavy rain and floods across Pakistan have impacted around 33 million people and about one third of the country has been submerged under water. Angelina will travel around the country to hear from people about their problems and requirements and also try to understand about the steps to be taken to prevent such suffering in the future.
She earlier visited victims of the 2010 floods in Pakistan. She will now visit the International Relief Committee to highlight the need for urgent support for the people of Pakistan and to find long term solutions to address these issues of climate change.
