On the occasion of Andrea Jeremiah’s birthday, the makers of her upcoming Tamil horror-thriller Pisasu 2 unveiled a special poster. Mysskin took to Twitter and wrote, “Let’s light the candle and celebrate the special day of our protagonist Andrea. @andrea_jeremiah. Happy birthday and wishing you a long creative life.”
Andrea has now revealed that her look was inspired by her maternal grandmother. She took it to Instagram to reveal more about her look. “There’s a story behind #pisasu2 first look… On the left is a picture of my maternal grandmother, taken when she was a young girl. Her name was Heather and with her dark blonde hair and greyish blue eyes, she never looked like she belonged here. When @directormysskin first narrated the story to me, I immediately drew parallels between the character & my own family lineage. I dug out these old photographs and sent them to him. He called me immediately to say that this picture was so hauntingly beautiful and he wanted to recreate it for the first look of my character in his film. And so that’s what we did. I was & still am so nervous about this film, but somehow, when I saw the final picture, I felt calm, because I knew I had found HER. Thank you to the team for recreating this look so beautifully! The scarf I am wearing is my grandmother’s scarf perhaps it will be my lucky charm.”
The sequel is being bankrolled by Rockfort Entertainment. As per a recent statement, the shooting commenced in November. However, the makers are yet to officially announce the rest of the cast and crew. The sequel will have music by Karthik Raja.
