Chef Adhira’s Ode to OTR menu promises a symphony of flavours and textures for a heightened sensory experience. It starts with a tantalising trio of amuse bouches, including a delicate Spring Onion Crisp, the familiar and delightful OTR Tart, and a unique Coromandel Cornetto, a play on Chennai summers.

The journey continues with a sequence of carefully curated courses. Prepare your palate for the Summer Tartlet, a crispy puff pastry tartlet crowned with confit cherry tomatoes and caramelised garlic jam, showcasing the essence of the season. For the second course, the Saporito steals the spotlight, as glistening, buttered artichoke and asparagus sit atop a bed of fluffy sour cream mousse, accompanied by a spiced muhammara, zesty basil oil, and a sprinkling of parsley crumb, delivering a harmonious medley of flavours.

Indulge in the enchanting Saffron Ravioli, handmade with goats’ cheese and coated with a garlic-kissed saffron and sundried tomato beurre blanc. Each bite will take you deeper into culinary bliss. To cleanse your palate, relish the refreshing Rhubarb Sorbet, a zesty interlude reminiscent of her childhood in Kodaikanal, before she moves you to the grand finale.

For the main course, Chef Adhira offers an array of delicious choices. Vegetarians can savour the Preserved Lemon Risotto, a signature dish of hers, which is a creative twist on the classic Sicilian lemon risotto, featuring citrus and parmesan cream, crispy kale, and a drizzle of burnt chilli butter. Alternatively, the White Sea Cauliflower beckons with its miso-glazed cauliflower nestled on a Mediterranean duo of Turkish yoghurt and roasted red pepper coulis. The dish is finished with a feta and olive tapenade and a crunchy savoury crumble. Non-vegetarians can revel in the choice between the delicate, slow-cooked pork or confit Duck, braised to perfection and served alongside savoury fondant potatoes, glazed Brussels sprouts, and a delightful honey mustard reduction, topped with cured egg yolks. Alternatively, the Pulled Lamb offers a succulent experience with its sticky-sweet apricot and grapefruit glaze atop unctuously creamy mashed potatoes, braised Belgian endive, and a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds.

Prepare to end this culinary symphony on a sweet note with the exquisite dessert selection. Indulge in the comforting ‘Milk & Honey’, the chef’s special, featuring a burnt honey mousse, vanilla bean ice cream, a duo of honeycomb, and spiced biscuit crumble. Alternatively, the Coffee & Caramel offers an indulgent combination of salted caramel ice cream, single-origin coffee panna cotta, and crispy milk crumbs with zabaione.

The meal ends with the Après Dessert, which is a delightful pairing of Indian cheeses accompanied by flavour powerhouses such as a Kargil apricot reduction, mountain plum jam, birds-eye chilli relish, and candied ginger.
