Christmas is the season for giving and sharing. In keeping with this spirit, Gayathri Ananthakrishnan and the Dietetics and Canteen team from Curi Hospital, OMR, have come up with a novel idea. If you order your Christmas lunch from them, they will deliver it along with lunch for another family which you can give to your maid, driver, the vegetable vendor, watchman, sweeper or any one else you would like to.

It would ring in the festive spirit this Christmas. This offer is available on the 24th and 25th and has to be placed by the 23rd. The food will be prepared in the hospital kitchen taking all necessary safety precautions and will be supervised by the dietitians. The menu comprises both veg and non veg. Please check out the brochure for the menu, the combo offers and the contact details. You can also choose to donate or pay for lunch for children or the elderly living at Orphanages and Old Age Homes that are run by NGOs.

Gayathri and her team which comprises of Chefs, Canteen Staff, Physiotherapist, Quality Coordinator, Dietitians and the delivery team came up with this idea because of the dampened festive spirit due to the ongoing pandemic. They felt that by sharing food with our maid, watchman, sweeper or the driver, would make a difference to them and brighten up their day. As Charles Schulz puts it “Christmas is doing a little extra for someone.”
