Harpreet Gill,  a senior manager at Amazon, was shot dead by five youngsters in Northeast Delhi on Wednesday when he was travelling on a bike with his friend at 11.30 p.m.  According to the police, the reason as to why he was shot down was an argument over a narrow lane.

The five attackers were travelling on a scooter in the opposite direction and the lane was so narrow that only one vehicle could pass at a time. Both Gill and the attackers refused to move back and allow the other vehicle to go first.
The 5 accused were identified as Bilal Gani, Mohammed Sameer, Sohail, Mohammed Junaid and Junaid, all between 18 to 23 years of age. When Gill and his friend Singh tried to get down from the bike to talk to the youngsters, they were shot by Sameer.
Police have arrested the accused after identification by scanning the CCTV footage. The incident took place in Delhi’s Bhajanpura.
