Ajith advised three months rest

Actor Ajith Kumar has undergone a knee surgery at a private hospital in Chennai on Thursday. He has been advised to be under rest for three months. Sources say that the the actor injured his knee while shooting the climax sequence of his recent release Vedalam. The surgery was initially planned for November 24, but had to be advanced as the actor couldn’t bear the pain. Dr. David Rajan of Kumaran hospital performed the surgery and Ajith is recovering well.
