The brutal rape of a 11 year old girl in Ayanavaram for over six months has been condemned by all sections of society. Some advocates thrashed the accused when they were produced in court yesterday. The accused were produced before a Mahila Court which remanded them to judicial custody till July 31st.
Public outrage against the accused is so much that a section of advocates gathered near the Mahila Court premises and decided that no member of the association would appear before any court on behalf of the 17 accused persons. However no formal resolution was passed to that effect.
