Hollywood actor Tom Hanks rejected the offer made by billionaire Jeff Bezos to fly him to space before William Shatner.
It is stated that the cost would be around 28 million. Hanks played the role of astronaut Jim Lovell in the film ”Apollo 13”.
Last month, William Shatner and three others hurtled to an attitude of 66.5 miles over the West Texas desert in a fully automated capsule. Though the flight lasted only for 10 minutes, it was considered to be the most profound experience by Shatner. He stated ”I hope I never recover from this. I hope that I can maintain what I feel now. I don’t want to lose it.”
It is reported that Shatner and the others did not pay for this flight trip and the company described them as guests for the trip.
