Many Aam Aadmi Party members were detained in Delhi due to protests staged by them against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case. They were shoved into buses and taken to police stations in Delhi.

The BJP members on the other hand gathered together near the Ferozshah Kotla stadium and marched towards the Delhi Secretariat shouting slogans against Arvind Kejriwal and alleging corruption in his government. They are also demanding that he steps down as chief minister after the arrest.
The AAP however insisted that Kejriwal will remain the chief minister even if it meant functioning from jail.
Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court will hear Kejriwal’s petition on Wednesday challenging his arrest and also challenging the lower court order granting the ED his custody for 7 days.
