A five-day long German film festival will begin at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Chennai from February 6.
Around 50 films will be screened under the following sections- Indian films, International, Retrospective: Werner Herzog, Reena Mohan; Contemporary German Films, Filmmaker in Focus: Supriyo Sen; 9 Pen Cinemackal: Curated by Archana Padmini; Artists’ Cinema: Curated by C. S. Venkiteswaran, Gandhi, Gandhiness and Cinema Vimarsha: Curated and Presented by Amrit Gangar; Films from Tamil Nadu.
