U2 has decided to postpone its Paris concert Saturday night (Nov. 14) “as a result of the ongoing state of emergency across France” in light of the multiple terrorist attacks in Paris Friday, the band said in a statement on its website.

Coldplay, meanwhile, have opted to postpone the KROQ/Tidal livestream and most of a Los Angeles gig tonight, “out of respect for the terrible events in Paris,” the band posted to its site. Coldplay added that, while they will play “a short set of old material” for the fans already at that venue, they plan to reschedule the intended show and honor all tickets.
