Actress Priyanka who acted in the famous T.V.serial Vamsam hanged herself at her house at Valasarvakkam.It was her maid who found her hanging from a ceiling fan and informed the Police about the suicide.
She was married to Arunbalan but owing to differences in opinion, they were living apart.Initial investigations revealed that family dispute could have been the cause for her to take the extreme step. Her body has been sent to the Kilpauk Government hospital for post mortem.
