In order to honour the memory of Sushant Singh, his family has decided to set up a foundation in his name. It will be named as the Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation (SSRF) and will support young talent in areas that were close to his heart viz cinema, science and sports. They have plans to convert his childhood home in Rajiv Nagar, Patna Into a memorial. All his personal belongings which include thousands of books, his telescope and his flight simulator will be kept for display for his fans and admirers.
His family members are filled with pain and are finding it difficult to accept the fact that they can no longer hear his infectious laugh or see his twinkling eyes. They remember with great sorrow his favourite telescope which was his prized possession through which he used to gaze at the stars. His loss has left a void that can never be filled.
