Roshni Nadar Malhotra, daughter of Industrialist Shiv Nadar, is all set to become the third richest Indian after receiving a 47% stake in HCL Corporation and Vama Sundari Investments, Delhi. Shiv Nadar is the founder of the HCL Group.

Shiv Nadar formalized the transfer of his 47% stake through two gift deeds. This transfer makes Roshni the largest shareholder in both HCL and Vama groups. She now has majority control over HCLTech and HCL Infosystems.
The richest Indian is Mulesh Ambani with a net worth of $88.1 billion. Gautam Adani comes a close second with $68.9. Shiv Nadar who was the third richest person will slip in the rankings after he passed on his share to his daughter Roshni Nadar Malhotra.
Roshni is a graduate from Northwestern University and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. She has been the chairperson of HCLTech since 2020.
