The world’s deepest swimming pool is all set to open in Poland this year. Currently, it’s being built in a town near Warsaw in Poland, which will open its doors to the public very soon. Touted to be 45 m deep at its deepest point, this swimming pool, appropriately called Deepspot, will hold around 8000 m 3 of water, which is roughly 27 times volume of a normal pool.

Another interesting thing about this pool is that there will also be an underwater tunnel, where people who aren’t interested in swimming can watch the divers in action without getting wet. Until Deepspot is opened to people, the record for the deepest pool is held by Y-40 Deep Joy, which is in Italy and is 42 m deep. Deepspot is being marketed as an ultimate training ground for scuba divers; however, beginners will also be able to enjoy a dip in the pool.
A new filtration system has been created for the swimming pool, which will be responsible for maintaining the pool’s crystal clear water and will even allow free divers to feel as if they are suspended in space. Reports also state that Deepspot will be slightly warmer than the traditional swimming pools, thereby allowing drivers to avoid wet suits. Deepspot will be open 24/7 and will be an indoor facility so there will not be any complaints of bad weather.
