Money Talks, the new sound of Fuzzy Logic, following a slew of multi-genre singles released independently since 2010. It combines house and deep techno elements infused with glitchy samples, lyrics and vocal hooks.

Paul Smith’s range of jeans for S/S-14
For spring/summer 14, Paul Smith Jeans draws on the eclectic and unorthodox style of Sun Ra, one of the most renowned avant-garde jazz musicians of the 20th century.
Born Herman Blount, he became Sun Ra following a series of astral revelations and later claimed that he was born on Saturn, not Earth. Sun Ra expressed his flamboyant nature in experimental sounds and a dazzling dress sense. This cosmic influence permeates the new Paul Smith Jeans collection, in standout prints and textures inspired by the sartorial choices of the jazz icon.

Echoing the trajectory of Sun Ra’s career from the mainstream to the experimental, the colour palette ranges from more subdued shades of indigo, tobacco and gold to psychedelic pinks and oranges.
Strong graphics and polka dots take centre stage with exclusively created prints building on a planetary theme, in addition to the herringbone and leopard patterns once favoured by Sun Ra. These influences extend to the shoe collection, with casual camisole footwear contrasting with sneakers highlighted with a space-age metallic-purple lustre or a version constructed from coarse, textured blue maharam, a fabric traditionally used in furnishings.
Soft, unstructured tailoring and light jersey, needlecord and shirting materials give the collection a summery, casual air. Garment dying lends an interesting irregularity to the shirts, resulting in softer colouring for the main body contrasting with the heavier shades of the seams. Polka-dot discharge-printed linen, in which bleach is used to lift colour from the fabric, adds to the worn, vintage feel of the collection.
Outerwear combines the visually striking and the practical, with highlights including three-times dry and aluminum-backed fabrics designed to insulate heat. Suede jackets see a focus on detailing, from astral-themed pockets to perforated decoration.
Within Paul Smith Jeans is Red Ear, a capsule collection born out of Paul’s travels in Japan. Red Ear is the term used in Japan for the selvedge on jeans.
The inspiration for the Red Ear collection is Manzo Nagano, the first Japanese person to officially emigrate to Canada, in 1877. A mix of Oriental and nautical themes emerges in the palette of indigos and other rich tones. The jeans, which are made from Italian selvedge denim created on narrow-width Japanese looms, cover a spectrum of light and dark washes and are assembled in the UK.
The Japanese cottons and fine cloths, including pyjama-cloth shirting, are patterned with designs drawing on the items Nagano took with him on his trip. These are combined with Italian fabrics, heavily stitched to create a workwear look, with highlights including shirts constructed from mixed-patterned materials.

Tabla Group of Restaurants launches “The Terrace”
A chain of fine dining restaurants in the city, Tabla, marked its 12th anniversary in style. The group launched a classy lounge called The Terrace in Hitech city.
The lounge has a great view of the surroundings and its modern décor gives a contemporary feel to the pace. Blue lights and comfortable furniture make it a relaxed and stylish place for techies from nearby offices to relax in after work.
The Terrace is specially designed aimed at the young and urban crowd and provides some great music and good food to relax with. Added to that is an extensive selection of premium spirits and wines which translates to one more trendy watering hole for the city’s night birds.
The food is predominantly Tandoori and Continental and located as it is in the IT hub of Hyderabad, it makes the perfect spot for sundowners and stargazing while overlooking the city’s ever changing skyline. The place is spacious with luxurious seating for more than 80 people.
New Menu at Truffles Bar and Café
Truffles Bar and Café, the trendy and popular all day diner in Jubilee Hills has added some new dishes to its menu which is already quite extensive.
From Pork Sausages and Pancakes with Maple Syrup in the breakfast items to Curry Chicken Panini Sandwich and Cream of Mushroom Soup in the all day eat section, there is a whole new range of dishes from various cuisines to choose from. The popular dishes from earlier are still very much there but for the regulars, they are spoilt for choice now.

Middle Eastern dishes like Tabbouleh, Spinach and Kheema Samosas cooked in the Middle Eastern style, Beef Kibbeh, Turkish Lamb Pizza and the Turkish Doner Kebab are on the menu. Italian dishes include the Caprese Salad, Grilled vegetables with mushroom and herb rice, Cannelloni a La Florentine, Eggplant Parmesan and
Grilled Fish and Tomato Bruschetta.
We tried the Tabbouleh, the Grilled Vegetables with herb rice and the Grilled Fish and Tomato Bruschetta and cleaned our plates out – each of the dishes were delicious.
For lovers of Indian food, Truffles now has an entire section dedicated to Indian food. Dishes that include Mutton Dhansak & Fried Brown Rice, Prawns Trincomalee and Butter Chicken to Rogan Josh to Methi Chaman and Paneer Butter Masala.
In desserts, the deliciously decadent Chocolate Canneloni makes way for the equally delicious and decadent Chocolate Mousse Cake.
The drinks menu too has been reinvented and do try the Lychee Tabasco Margarita and the Orange Cinnamon Mojito.
So if you haven’t been to Truffles in a while, it makes sense to go there – we recommend you try the new additions for some yummy food.

Testa Rossa Cafe has introduced a sumptuous breakfast menu at all its outlets. With three outlets already in existence and three more to be launched in the next two months, the café has something for everyone.
From simple omelettes and toast to a fried egg sandwich or eggs cooked sunny side up etc., to sumptuous versions like the English breakfast or the Farmer’s breakfast that includes grilled tomatoes, hash browns, sausages or salami, baked bans, muffins etc. the breakfast menu features all your favourite hot and cold dishes. There are also sandwiches, cereals with milk and pancakes with syrup on offer.

We tried the Farmer’s breakfast after digging into a big bowl of oats. The oats were delicious – dunked in hot milk, then cooled and a dash of freshness added thanks to the orange juice and fresh fruit along with a generous helping of dry fruits. The omelette was cooked just right with a hint of cheese that gave it a creamy texture. The pancakes come with maple and chocolate syrup. And if you are a chocoholic, try their hot chocolate which is mostly hot, molten chocolate, simply divine.
The breads and muffins are all baked in house so if you are ordering a croissant, a Panini or a muffin, you can rest assured they are all fresh off the oven.
There is a range of coffees to choose from as well that includes Classic Espresso, Café Americano, Latte Macchiato, Mocha Frappe, Truffle Shake. The coffee beans are imported from Austria and the version used at the café is a blend of three different kinds of beans. All breakfast items are served with freshly brewed coffee to make your morning super fresh and give you an excellent start for the day.
The place is also open for lunch and dinner and has interesting pastas, paninis, pizzas and sandwiches on offer.

The book Around the world with the Tadka Girls is as yummy as its title suggests. It is written by two friends – Ruchira Ramanujam from the North and Ranjini Rao from the South, bringing a nice mix of cultural flavours. Plus Ruchira brings in her techie attitude and Ranjini her writer’s sensibilities to give a nice “tadka” to the whole affair.
In their words, both the writers love to eat, cook and write and this is apparent right from the first page itself. Whether it’s a Mexican flavour you crave or a mix of French and Mediterranean cuisines, you will find them here and much more too.
Tasty chapters
The book is divided helpfully into sections titled breakfast and brunch, bits and brews, soups and salads, bread basket, pastas and rice, sweet treats, signature tadka and fiesta fare. So you can conveniently refer to the sections you are interested in and find yummy suggestions, depending on your mood and the time of day.
The book offers brand new recipes that have been perfected by both the authors after many years of travel and of course, trial and error. They are supplemented with a lot of useful tips especially for newbies like the right use of the measurement scale, amount of spices to be used, indicative times etc. which makes the entire cooking process much less daunting. The book also carries pictures of the final dishes, so you will know what your potato paneer tart, malia arancini or the chocolate bark should look like. There are lighter options too – like the chicken and cabbage borsht or the hara bhara tofu tikka.
There are also useful tips for the health conscious – like making flour from soya, ragi, bajra, brown rice or even urad dal to bring in goodness and health along with taste.
Sweet treat
The range of desserts is mouth watering too – the caramel pudding with chocolate ganache is a work of art in the authors’ own words – full of caramel and mixed with layers of custard, topped with a grand ganache. Or would you rather prefer a yummy peach pie with shortcut puff pastry or the delicious red berry crumble, which can be whipped up rather quickly?
Kids will also enjoy the goodies from the section titled Funnibbles like cheesy pinwheel crackers, cucumber boats, watermelon ice popsicles, mango on a stick etc. Don’t they all sound mouth-watering?
Ranging from the bed and breakfast menus at Michigan to the healthy goodies from a sunny Provence kitchen, this book will leave you asking for more. Read on a lazy Sunday and cook along to make it a delicious weekend.
