Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming film ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ is all set for its trailer launch on the September 16. The bilingual film is taking shape under Kamal’s longtime associate Rajesh . The actor is tipped to play a corrupted cop in this film which is set in the backdrop of a pub. Trisha is the leading lady.
When the trailer of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (BBM) released, director Rajamouli was pretty impressed with actor Nani. After watching the breezy entertainer, the Baahubali director appreciated the film.
He tweeted, “#BBM is out right funny. With an author backed role Nani stole the show with his performance. Equally adorable is lavanya. Personally there are so many incidents in the entire film where I was watching myself instead of Nani…:) Congrats to the whole team. Well-deserved success!” (sic).
Kalieaswari Srinivasan, who started off working with kids at Theatre Y founded by Yog Japee, says she would love to play Silk Smitha on screen. “I’d love to play Silk Smitha. I know that Dirty Picture has come out in Hindi, but Silk Smitha primarily worked in the South. I admire her a lot,” says the Chennai-based theatre actor.
