Priyanka Chopra will be seen wearing OM bracelet in her most awaited American TV show, Quantico. The versatile actor and international icon brought the bracelet from India before leaving for Quantico’s shoot in Montreal.

Priyanka is all set to create new benchmarks as an entertainer from India making her star presence felt across the globe by making her debut on American TV with the new drama series, Quantico,which is a part of the ABC Networks new line up of shows for its prime time fall season.

Quantico will premiere in India on October 3 on Star World, 9 PM, every Saturday.

CAULIFLOWER & ZUCCHINI SOUP

INGREDIENTS
  • Olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • ½ head of cauliflower (chopped)
  • 1 medium zucchini (chopped)
  • 2 large potatoes (chopped)
  • 1 large white onion (chopped)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • FOR GARNISH
  • Thyme
  • Sour cream
  • Olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Spread chopped cauliflower and zucchini on a baking sheet, drizzle and toss with olive oil.
  3. Roast for 10-20 minutes until browned on one side.
  4. While roasting, prepare the rest of the soup.
  5. In a medium-large pot, add a drizzle of olive oil on medium-high heat.
  6. Once heated, add onion, sauteeing until fragrant and slightly translucent.
  7. Add garlic, cooking for an additional minute.
  8. Add broth, and potatoes, bringing to a boil.
  9. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium, add roasted cauliflower and zucchini, allowing to simmer 10-15 minutes until potatoes are cooked through.
  10. Using an immersion blender, puree soup to your desired consistency, and season to taste.
  11. Serve and garnish with a spoonful of sour cream, a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh thyme.

Breakfast Taco Bites

INGREDIENTS
  • About 36 tortilla chip scoops
  • 3 breakfast sausage links
  • ½-3/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
  • 3 slices bacon, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line tortilla chip scoops on a baking sheet. Set aside. *See note for make ahead directions.
  2. In a large frying pan, add the eggs, milk and salt. Cook, scrambling, over medium heat until completely cooked. Remove from the pan and place in a medium bowl.
  3. Remove sausage from links and scramble fry in the pan, breaking up with a spatula as the sausage cooks. Fry over medium heat until golden brown. Add peppers and cook 1-2 minutes until peppers are tender crisp. Remove from the pan and add to the eggs in the bowl.
  4. Add the bacon to the pan and cook, stirring, over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and add to the eggs in the bowl.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of cheese (this works best when egg mixture is luke warm and not hot, because otherwise the cheese will be one glob and not disperse throughout).
  6. Spoon egg mixture into tortilla chip scoops and top with remaining ½ cup cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes until hot and cheese is melted.
  7. Top with salsa as desired.

Star Bollywood Fashion Stylist Moet Brar at INIFD – MADHAPUR Orientation Programme

Star Bollywood Fashion Stylist & Fashion Show Choreographer Moet Brar, the man behind Ranbir Kapoor new avatar in latest Bollywood Blockbuster Roy, Besharam’ was at INIFD Orientation Program Which is organized by INIFD – Madhapur Center to make them understand the art of Fashion Design to the budding designers of Inter National Institute of Fashion Design and gave his creative inputs, held at Star hotel in Gachibowli on Tuesday.

In this specialized workshop, students were taken through the different stages of the fashion design process; Moet Brarspoke on the fashion trends of today in India and abroad. He gave inputs on design industry’s trends in bollywood, gave information about the materials trends, yarns, colours, fashion trends related to embellishments, accessories, etc.

Moet Brar reviewed the portfolios of the INIFD student Designers and gave his creative inputs. He had an hour long question answer session with students to satisfy their curiosities from the role of designers in Bollywood to participat in Lakme Fashion Week.

The Designer Workshop of Moet Brar was a great learning experience for the INIFD students, which provided them with direct hands on experience of being a star designer. The design workshop also created awareness about the stylish and versatile upcoming fashion trends.

He explained the students to seek his seasoned guidance and benefit from his personal experience. During this workshop,  he  briefed the students about design industry, how to start their own venture, the intricacies of designing for Bollywood & Hollywood stars and also secret of his success.
