Justice Tahilramani of the Bombay High Court has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
The current Chief Justice Indira Banerjee has been elevated to the Supreme Court. The collegium has found Justice Tahilramani suitable in all respects to take over from Justice Banerjee.
