Recently, Kangana Ranaut and director AL Vijay went to visit J Jayalalithaa’s memorial in Chennai ahead of her film, Thalaivii’s release on September 10. They also paid their respects to former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran. The actress will be seen next in the film which is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
Thalaivii will see Arvind Swami essay the role of AIADMK founder MGR, while Kangana will play Jayalalithaa. Though the film was scheduled to release in theatres on April 23, it was postponed due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus.
