0

Actor Johnny Depp sold a collection of prints he created of Hollywood and rock icons for more than $3.5 million through a UK gallery chain. The prints were being sold online at Castle Fine Art that runs a network of UK galleries. Depp has called his collection ”Friends & Heroes” and it was a testament to the people who inspired him as a person.

His works include the late actress Elizabeth Taylor, actor Al Pacino and Rolling Stone Keith Richards. There were 780 pieces of art in all and all the prints were marked out of stock. The art retailer posted a picture of the 59 year old Depp working on a portrait of singer Bob Dylan.

The gallery chain posted a tweet that Johnny Depp broke the internet and that its website crashed due to demand.
Depp recently won a defamation case against Amber Heard and was awarded $10 million while Amber won $2 million in a counter-suit.
