The InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram kicked off its Christmas celebrations with its Christmas tree lighting ceremony, themed ‘Coastal Christmas tree’. In the luxury hotel’s endeavor to blend the spirit of Christmas with its mission of ecological sustainability, their engineering team created this marvel, made with 700 coconuts and standing 15 feet tall! in the middle of their artfully decorated lobby, stands a perfect tribute to the Kalpavriksha, where every part of the coconut tree is used.
