Seven students held for prank videos

Seven college students in Bengaluru were arrested by the police for playing pranks on unsuspecting people in order to record videos and post them on social media. They used to dress up as a ghost, wearing a long white kurta with a wig and splash red paint all over their dress to make it appear like blood. Many motorists, pedestrians and people sleeping on pavements were victims of these pranks.

Some passers by alerted the police and all the seven students were arrested. They were questioned and their parents were summoned. They were made to give an undertaking and were let off with a strict warning. Police have warned people against recording such videos.
