Unvaccinated people and those under 15 not allowed for Republic Day Parade

All people who will be attending the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi have to be fully vaccinated. Children below 15 years will also not be allowed to attend the function as per the guidelines issued by the Delhi Police.


People will have to strictly follow all Covid protocols like wearing of face masks and maintaining social distancing. They will have to carry their vaccination certificate with them.
According to the guidelines, the seating blocks will be open for visitors at 7 a.m. and as parking is limited, visitors have been asked to use either carpool or a taxi and to carry a valid identity card and cooperate during the security check.
Around 27,000 police personnel including 71 DCPs, 213 ACPs and 753 Inspectors have been deployed for security duties in the national capital and anti-terror measures have been intensified in view of Republic Day.
