The ten day lockdown begins from May 12th and is expected to go on till 22nd
The latest state to join the lockdown is Telangana. The CMO has announced that the 10 day lockdown will begin from May 12th, 2021. Restriction would be relaxed from 6am to 10am everyday post which the lockdown will begin. The state reported 4826 cases on a single day with deaths reaching 35. Earlier Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu had announced lockdowns this week owing to the rising number of Covid infections.
