Saudi King Salman has declared a national holiday tomorrow for all schools, public and private employees after the football team’s shocking 2-1 win against Argentina in the FIFA World Cup.

As exams are going on currently, they will have to be rescheduled. Saudi Arabia bounced back after Lionel Messi’s penalty and went on to win the match at the Lusail Stadium in Doha. Celebrations began after the final whistle blew at the capital Riyadh. Fans started dancing and sword emblazoned national flags were waved from the windows of speeding cars.
Saudi Arabia produced one of the greatest upsets in World Cup history. In the 48th minute, they equalised with a goal from Saleh-Al- Shehri and Salem Al Dawsari scored another goal in the 53rd minute resulting in the 2-1 victory.
